Arriving on time each morning helps students succeed across all grade levels.
-
Elementary: At 8:15 a.m. sharp, the day begins with a morning meeting where students review the daily schedule, hear announcements, participate in relationship-building activities, and connect with teachers and classmates. This intentional start builds community and prepares students for key learning blocks like ELA, WIN, and specialists.
-
Secondary: At 8:00 a.m. sharp, students begin their day with Advisory and Panther Plus sessions. These important blocks set students up for success by providing academic support, reinforcing routines, and keeping them on track for the rest of their classes.
When students arrive on time, they not only feel prepared and connected but also practice key character traits:
- Responsibility – being accountable for routines
- Respect – valuing the time of teachers and peers
- Citizenship – contributing to the classroom community
- Perseverance – developing healthy habits that support learning
Tardiness makes it harder for students to feel confident and engaged once lessons are underway. By helping your child arrive on time, you give them the best start—academically, socially, and personally.
Thank you for working with us to help all our Panthers shine!
