Important Traffic & Parking Reminders - Elementary Campus

Posted Date: 08/31/26 (12:00 PM)

Dear PACT Families:

With hundreds of vehicles moving through our campuses each day, safety remains our top priority. We appreciate your partnership in following these important traffic and parking procedures to help protect our students, staff, and visitors.

Traffic Flow & Speed

  • Follow one-way traffic patterns as directed by staff. You should not enter or exit via the Ramsey Blvd entrance near the office, as it is for bus traffic.

  • Obey posted speed limits

  • Stop at the stop signs

  • Watch for crossing guards and staff signals

Student & Pedestrian Safety

  • Always yield to pedestrians in crosswalks and walkways

  • Drive slowly and remain alert on campus, as children can move unpredictably

  • Students should never walk between parked cars to reach vehicles

School Bus Safety Laws

  • State law requires drivers to stop for buses with flashing red lights and stop arms

  • Never pass a stopped school bus on campus

  • Always yield to buses entering or exiting school grounds

Carpool & Drop-Off Procedures

  • Please use the designated drop-off and pick-up zones only, and you may not drop off or pick up in other locations on campus (e.g., bus lane or side entrances)

  • Follow staff directions at all times

  • Do not block traffic while waiting

Parking Lot Guidelines

  • Park only in designated spaces on PACT property, and respect reserved areas with specified signage

  • Do not stop in fire lanes or loading zones

  • Avoid double parking or blocking driving lanes

  • Students should be escorted safely to their vehicles by their parents if they wish to park

  • Allina Health has asked us not to use its parking lot, but Northgate Church will allow us to use its parking lot

Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and orderly campus environment. Your patience, awareness, and cooperation make a meaningful difference every day.

Warm regards,

Dr. Lara Bronson
Elementary Principal
