Car Line & Dismissal
Student safety is our top priority during arrival and dismissal. Below you'll find everything you need to know about our Pikmykid dismissal system, traffic patterns, and bike parking.

Dismissal Procedures with Pikmykid
Student safety is our top priority at the PACT Elementary Campus. We use Pikmykid to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient dismissal by managing all dismissal changes and parent pick-up. School dismisses at 3:15 p.m., with dismissal running until 3:30 p.m. Please enter your dismissal plans in Pikmykid before the daily cut-off to help ensure a smooth process.
The Pikmykid app is available in the App Store and Google Play Store for download:
-
The Parent Pick-Up Line is for families who prefer to remain in their vehicles.
- When you arrive on campus, open the Pikmykid app and announce your arrival.
- Please keep your phone's location services enabled for the app so Pikmykid can recognize when you are near the school and notify staff that you have arrived.
- Follow the designated traffic pattern and stay in your vehicle.
- Staff will have your child ready and escort them safely to your vehicle.
- Remain attentive, follow staff directions, and continue moving forward as the line advances.
Announcing your arrival in the app before reaching the loading zone helps reduce wait times and keeps traffic moving efficiently.
-
Families who prefer to park may use the Walk-Up Pick-Up Line option.
- Park in a designated parking space.
- Open the Pikmykid app and select the Walk-Up option or announce your arrival as directed.
- Proceed to the designated walk-up pick-up area.
- A staff member will verify your pick-up before releasing your child.
For student safety, children will be released only to authorized adults at the designated walk-up location.
-
Pikmykid streamlines dismissal for families and staff by allowing parents to:
- Schedule dismissal changes in advance.
- Add approved pick-up delegates, including grandparents, relatives, or trusted friends.
- Receive notifications when their child has been dismissed.
- Request early dismissal (when available).
- Manage all dismissal information in one secure app.
-
- Verify your child's dismissal plan each day.
- Anyone picking up your child must be listed as an authorized pick-up in Pikmykid.
- Enter dismissal changes before the daily cut-off time. After the cut-off, contact the school office directly.
- Have the Pikmykid app open and ready upon arrival to help dismissal run smoothly.
- Be patient during the first few weeks as everyone learns the dismissal routines. Your cooperation helps us safely dismiss every student.
Thank you for partnering with us to make dismissal safe, efficient, and positive for all PACT Elementary students and families.

- Equip their bikes with front and rear lights

Biking to school is a great way to stay active and arrive ready to learn. We appreciate our students taking responsibility for their safety and gear while enjoying this healthy transportation option.
